NAACP Web Redesign

The NAACP had a dated, disjointed website that was difficult to update internally and didn't provide opportunities for users to donate, sign petitions, or get involved. With a rising tide of race-based discrimination, our team at Blue State Digital needed to quickly get an action-oriented site up and running with little budget.

I worked closely on UX and design to develop a flexible and responsive system of templates that our client could use to easily create new, visually dynamic pages that did not rely on custom design or professional photography. We based the site around key issues including injustice, health, economic opportunity, civic engagement and education — allowing members and visitors to find the latest news, resources, and campaigns around the causes of their choice. You can check out the site (and donate!) at naacp.org.
